Exponential technologies will produce waves of change, some good, others not so good. How will Philadelphia ride those waves? Will we drive change, or will we be driven by it?

Philadelphia Futurism was born out of a conversation between John Cardone and Stacey Lindbloom. After attending a local conference, they lamented the fact that many Philadelphians seem unaware of their enormous potential, and consequently have very little vision for the future. In an effort to activate that potential, and develop Philadelphia's collective vision as a city on the move, they decided to organize an event that would create space for these conversations, and challenge our notion of whats probable, and what's possible.
